Why do flowers with shorter bloom periods need plenty of light?

Different flower varieties differ in how long their bloom period lasts. For varieties with a long bloom period, we hope to make the bloom period even longer, while for flowers with a relatively short bloom period, we usually want to make their blooms more beautiful. So what should be noted about lighting for flowers with shorter bloom periods?
Narcissus
Flower species such as peonies, narcissus (Narcissus), and tulips are all flowers with relatively short bloom periods. They must be placed in a spot with fairly abundant sunlight, and the temperature must also be relatively low. Once the temperature is too high, the flowers bloom relatively early, and then the bloom period becomes shorter, which reduces their ornamental value indoors quite a bit. Many potted flowers actually prefer a semi-shaded environment, and indoors it is best if there is ventilation; do not keep flowers in a room with poor air circulation, as that will reduce the vitality of the potted plants.
On the other hand, take Phalaenopsis as an example. This flower likes a humid environment and also likes shady places, because in nature it grows under trees. If you take it home and put it under direct sunlight, it will certainly wilt.
