Fresh flower care has its tricks, making it easy to grow fragrant, beautiful blooms
There are mainly two tricks in fresh flower care: first cut, second spray, third preserve. Once you master these three care tricks, you can greatly extend how long you get to enjoy your fresh flowers.
First, cut. Before placing fresh flowers in a vase, the stem ends should be cut again. This is because after a flower is cut from the plant, it forms a seal at the wound to protect itself, but once that seal forms, it affects the flower's ability to absorb the water in the vase, and of course the flower will quickly wilt. Moreover, bacteria also accumulate at the wound of the fresh flower, so our first trick is cutting: cut the stem end at a 45-degree angle, shortening it by 2-3 cm. On one hand the seal is opened, on the other hand the bacteria are cut away, and the flower's water-absorbing channels are also cleared, so of course the fresh flowers can bloom longer.
Second, spray. The leaves of a plant help the flower carry out photosynthesis, so for fresh flowers placed in a vase, spray New High-Fat Film to form a thin protective film that prevents the leaves from rotting and breeding bacteria from being submerged in water for a long time.
The last trick is to add a suitable preservative for the fresh flowers. Spraying the flower buds at the bud stage with Duozhuangling keeps the flowers dark green, makes the leaves thick, and extends the flowering period. The thicker and longer the stems of the fresh flowers, the better the nutrition was when they were planted.
