Symptoms of Heat Damage in Flowers and Plants and Care Methods

After flowers and plants suffer heat damage, many physiological mechanisms become abnormal, photosynthesis is inhibited, necrotic spots appear on the leaves, chlorophyll is destroyed, the leaf color turns yellow and brown, and the plant may even die.
For flowers and plants suffering heat damage, shade should be provided promptly or they should be moved to a shaded place; those indoors should have windows opened promptly for ventilation, and they should not be watered immediately; instead, water should be sprayed or applied only after the temperature drops below 30°C, to prevent physiological drought. After a few days of careful care, they generally recover, but the yellow-brown spots left on the injured leaves will remain on those leaves for life.
