Improper flower care can also cause poisoning symptoms
More and more people like to grow flowers. Growing flowers can decorate the home, make the environment more beautiful, and also add pleasure to life and cultivate character. However, the vast majority of flower-growing friends are not professionals, and there are times when care is improper. Also, when fertilizing, if the fertilizer is too concentrated, it can easily cause fertilizer damage, and the flowers can also get poisoned. So keep these three solutions in mind, and once you have mastered them, you will no longer be afraid that flowers and plants will get poisoned.
After flowers and plants suffer fertilizer damage and get poisoned, what situations will appear? Leaves turn yellow, wither, and fall off, the root system rots, growth stalls, those that should bloom do not bloom, and they may even die directly, so they must be dealt with promptly.
The first type, mild
Use the clean water rinsing method. The specific method is to water continuously 2 to 3 times, and each watering must soak through. Place it in a cool place, and after the soil is slightly dry, move it to a bright spot with indirect light, then gradually resume normal care.
The second type, moderate
For moderate fertilizer damage, it cannot be solved only by diluting the fertilizer with clean water. You can first water with clean water 2 to 3 times, then plant some vegetable seeds in the soil, because when the seeds germinate and grow seedlings, they will consume a large amount of fertilizer, thereby reducing the fertilizer concentration in the flower pot. The effect is very good. After the vegetable seedlings grow, just pull them out.
The third type, severe
For severe fertilizer damage, the first two methods definitely cannot completely save the plant. You need to take the flowers and plants out of the pot, wash the roots, let them dry, replant them in nutrient soil, place them in a cool place, and after they are fully established, resume normal care.
So what situations can cause fertilizer damage and poison flowers and plants?
Using raw fertilizer: raw fertilizer will continuously ferment in the soil, and during fermentation it releases heat, causing root burn and fertilizer damage.
Using dry fertilizer: if dry fertilizer is used directly, the root system cannot absorb it directly. Instead, the cell sap in the flowers and plants will draw water back out, causing the root system to dry up and the plant to die.
Therefore, whether it is raw fertilizer or dry fertilizer, it must be fully decomposed first, and then diluted and weakened before use. Otherwise, it can easily cause fertilizer damage.
