What indoor plants and flowers are suitable for water culture

Although winter has already passed, heating in the north continues until the end of March. During this period, how can you keep a good humidity level at home? Today, Hua'er Gu introduces several plants that can increase indoor humidity. These plants and flowers are very suitable for hydroponics! May every flower lover stay in great health~
Pothos
Pothos stays green all year round, is easy to keep alive, and is also highly ornamental! Hydroponic pothos is the first choice for many flower lovers; after all, hydroponics is clean and hygienic, more ornamental, and can also increase air humidity.
The roots of hydroponic pothos are very important. Be sure to clean and trim them regularly. If the roots grow too long, cut them short in time to reduce nutrient loss.
Spider plant
Even with just a few simple leaves, hydroponic spider plant looks fresh and distinctive. If you also keep 2 small fish in the bottle, you can clearly see the white roots and the beautiful little fish dancing in the water through the glass bottle~ Of course, you can also put a few colored pebbles inside, which will make it look even prettier~
The care environment for hydroponic spider plant is not very different from that for soil-grown spider plant. Place it easily in a bright spot to ensure sufficient light. If light is insufficient, hydroponic spider plant will also show narrow, elongated leaves and dull leaf color. In addition, when summer sunlight is strong, do not expose it to direct sun, to avoid the water temperature getting too high and affecting root growth.
Ivy
Ivy is also a plant that stays green all year round, with slender and soft stems and vines. It can not only decorate the home, but also purify indoor air, absorb harmful gases such as benzene and formaldehyde released by furniture and decoration, and reduce the harm of harmful gases to the human body.
Ivy has strong adaptability to the environment, prefers a relatively cool climate, and has fairly strong cold resistance.
Gerbera
Hydroponic gerbera is not the whole plant soaked in water, but cut flowers grown in water. Its vitality continues, and it can bloom for a long time.
It likes a warm, sunny, and airy environment, and is a semi-cold-resistant flower.
Plumosa fern
Plumosa fern has an elegant plant shape, like bamboo but not bamboo, with a clear and free-spirited posture. Paired with a beautiful transparent container, it is both dignified and pretty, and also looks noble and elegant. It is an excellent choice for hydroponics.
Plumosa fern likes warmth. Avoid placing it in environments with heavy cooking fumes, such as near the kitchen door. The suitable temperature is 15°C-25°C, and the minimum winter temperature should not be lower than 5°C. Avoid direct strong light; care under diffused light is enough, especially in summer. When the air is dry, plumosa fern leaves easily turn yellow and withered, so spray water on the leaf surface regularly.
Lucky bamboo
Lucky bamboo is not only grown for its leaves; if kept well, it can also bloom. Its stamens are white or pale yellow, look like corn, and even have a faint fragrance.
Lucky bamboo should not be placed in too dark a place. Give it appropriate diffused light; at least the ambient light should be bright and ventilated. At the same time, also be careful not to place it next to radiation-emitting appliances such as televisions.
