Put some worm castings in the flower pot, the fertilizer effect is high and you never need to change the soil again
You never need to change the soil for your flowers again, just put some worm castings in the pot, it doubles into new soil, the fertilizer effect is high
Why do we have to change the potting soil for our plants every year when growing potted flowers at home? Actually, the reason for changing the potting soil every year is that the soil lacks nutrients. So when growing plants, in order to ensure that the plants and flowers at home can get enough nutrients, it is best to change the potting soil once a year. If you think changing the potting soil once a year is too troublesome, below I will share with you an old gardener's potting soil making method, so you can save yourself the trouble of changing the potting soil, and at the same time ensure that your plants and flowers grow more and more vigorously.
Method one for avoiding changing the potting soil: put worm castings into the soil.
Worm castings are rich in elements such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and calcium, and are a very useful decomposed organic fertilizer, with a very good promoting effect on plant development and growth. So before using worm castings, first sun-dry the worm castings to sterilize them, then crush the worm castings into powder, put them into clean water and stir, then pour the mixture directly into the soil.
Essentially, worm castings are a product from nature, able to fully meet the various nutrient needs of plants during growth, with a very strong fertilizing power, and can also make the soil loose and soft, thus achieving the need of no repotting for 2-3 years.
Method two for avoiding changing the potting soil: put some sesame seeds into the soil.
Sesame seeds contain a large amount of iron, a nutrient element needed to promote plant growth and make the leaves grow oily green. Normally you can choose some raw sesame seeds, then cook them, let them cool, crush the sesame seeds, then put them into clean water and soak for a period of time, then pour the liquid directly into the potting soil, this way you can increase the fertility of the soil, thereby promoting plant absorption and making the plants grow more and more vigorously.
Method three for avoiding changing the potting soil: add egg white to the soil.
There is no need to say much about the nutrition of eggs; they contain a large amount of nutrients, especially nitrogen, and also contain mineral elements such as phosphorus, potassium and calcium. These are all elements needed to promote plant growth and supplement nutrients for plants. So normally you can take out one fresh egg, take only the egg white and dilute it with clean water at a ratio of 1:50, then pour the diluted egg white water directly into the soil.
The above three methods for avoiding changing the potting soil are all very simple and easy to try. If you want the plants at home to grow more and more vigorously, you might as well choose one of these methods and give it a try. Of course, if you have a better method that lets plants grow better without changing the potting soil, you might as well share it so we can learn together.
