Spring 2020 flower viewing in Changhua, Xiushui So Young - Flowers of Happiness Jinling Flower Sea Festival opens

Spring 2020 flower viewing in Changhua: this year the countywide promotion area reached as much as 260 hectares, and the flower sea landscape has achieved remarkable results. This year, with "farmland flower sea" as the main axis, combined with the 2020 Flowers in Changhua event, Jinling Community in Xiushui Township created a distinctive flower sea beside Fanhua Road in Jinling Village and around Yuling Temple, and combined it with various parent-child activities. This year the township office planted an area of 40 hectares and further expanded the scale of the event, running for 8 days from 12/29 of ROC year 108 to 1/5 of ROC year 109. The opening ceremony was held on the morning of the 29th at Yuling Temple in Jinling Village. Changhua County Magistrate Wang Huimei, Xiushui Township Mayor Lin Yingjia and others attended. Although it was rainy and overcast early in the morning, the enthusiasm of the participating public was undiminished. During the event, visitors can enjoy the flowers, as well as various performances, specialty handmade experiences, painting and sketching competitions, flower fairy creative runway shows, industry cultural and creative markets, giant gachapon machines, large-scale installation art and more. County Magistrate Wang Huimei hopes that by holding flower sea events in each township and city, combining local industrial characteristics, expanding local visibility, and promoting "2020 Flowers in Changhua", everyone is welcome to come to Changhua to enjoy and see the flowers.

County Magistrate Wang Huimei said that this expansion, through the local distinctive flower sea combined with Jinling Community and Yuling Temple, as well as local specialty products, allows Xiushui to develop its own characteristics, and also links surrounding attractions point by point into a broader network, bringing more tourists into Xiushui. Where there are crowds, there is money. Special thanks go to the councilors for their full support in the county council. As long as it helps the local area, the county government will work together with the township office and elected representatives to make Changhua better, more progressive, and the local area more prosperous.
