Why do flowers sometimes grow fast and sometimes grow slowly

Everyone knows that flowers sometimes grow very fast and sometimes hardly grow at all, entering a dormant period. Most flowers grow more slowly under low winter temperatures, and some species even stop growing completely; under high summer temperatures, some plants also enter dormancy. The most suitable temperature for most flowers is 18~25°C, and within this temperature range flowers grow best; between 10~30°C flowers can also grow well.

In home conditions, with heaters and air conditioners today, indoor temperatures can generally be kept within this range, so most plants do not go dormant, they just differ in how fast or slow they grow.

In the process of growing flowers, the most important thing is to understand which flower grows when, and to serve it with good water and good fertilizer while it is growing. When it stops growing, water less, fertilize less, or stop fertilizing completely. In addition, use artificial methods to regulate the ambient temperature and stretch out its growing time as much as possible. In production settings, to supply market demand throughout the year, artificial control of ambient temperature is even more important. Only by regulating the temperature of the greenhouse or polytunnel respectively within the most suitable range for the flowers being cultivated can the flowers always stay in a rapid growth process, thereby shortening the production cycle.
