Local non-GMO soy milk with black tea, sweet and mellow with a smooth, creamy texture, available all day at 7-Eleven
Soy milk black tea hits the market, and you can drink 100% non-GMO domestic soybeans 24 hours a day! The planting area of domestic miscellaneous grains has been increasing year by year, making sales a challenge. A domestic company matched local production cooperatives and processing plants, using domestic soybean Kaohsiung Selection No. 10, added to black tea to make soy milk black tea, sweet on the palate with a smooth, creamy texture. It is now on shelves at 7-Eleven stores across Taiwan, China, and by conservative estimate can use 100 metric tons of soybeans per year.
The Yizhu Miscellaneous Grain Production Cooperative in Chiayi County, which entered into this contract farming arrangement, upgraded its processing equipment 5 years ago to improve the shipping quality of soybeans, and regularly invites processors and producers to communicate directly, sets standard product specifications, and works backward to manage and record the production process, keeping the soybeans produced at a stable, high quality.

Domestic soybeans keep increasing, entering the soy milk market, with black tea added to bring more layers of flavor
People in the country drink a considerable amount of soy milk, and at breakfast shops it is almost something everyone orders. In addition to traditional soybean milk, black soybean milk, edamame milk, peanut soy milk and others have appeared on the market one after another, showing that demand for soy milk is increasing. But the domestic soybean self-sufficiency rate is only 6%, most soy milk sold on the market is made from imported beans, and options for domestic soy milk are limited.
Since Year 105 of the Republic of China, the Council of Agriculture has promoted the Great Granary Program, with the goal of converting surplus rice paddies to miscellaneous grains and reducing domestic dependence on imported miscellaneous grains. Soybeans, one of those miscellaneous grains, grew from a planting area and output of 2,176 hectares and 3,061 metric tons in Year 105 to 3,022 hectares and 4,403 metric tons last year. As planting area and output expand, sales channels still need to be expanded.
Hu Zhongyi, Director-General of the Agriculture and Food Agency, said that annual soybean imports reach as high as 2.6 million metric tons, so domestic soybeans have enormous market potential. The soy milk black tea launched this time uses domestic soybeans and adds black tea to raise the drink's layers of flavor, letting consumers drink the freshest, tastiest and healthiest non-GMO domestic soy milk.
