2019 Taiwan International Coffee Festival Concludes Successfully and Splendidly ⟦4 The 2019 Taiwan International Coffee Festival series of events came to a joyful close after two weeks of festivities at Gukeng Green Tunnel, Huashan Elementary School, and Hebao Tung Blossom Park! On the 17th, Yunlin County Magistrate Chang Li-shan, County Councilor Tsai Tung-fu, Gukeng Township Chief Shen Sheng-teng, and attending VIP guests gathered at Huashan Elementary School for the closing ceremony. A coffee auction and charity sale was also held, with all proceeds donated to charity, bringing the event to a happy conclusion.

Magistrate Chang Li-shan stated that the "Taiwan International Coffee Festival" has now entered its 17th year, and locally produced Gukeng coffee has become renowned far and wide as a result. This year's event featured various activities on Saturdays and Sundays, 11/9, 11/10, 11/16, and 11/17, from 10 AM to 5 PM. In addition to the 11/9 opening concert, there was also a Local Good Voices Picnic Concert to entertain the public on site, as well as a coffee fun run, all of which brought the coffee festival to a climax.

Magistrate Chang Li-shan pointed out that this year's Taiwan International Coffee Festival blended education, cultural creativity, and hands-on experience. Through the coffee roasting selection at Huashan Elementary School, whose quality is deeply trusted and recognized both domestically and internationally, coffee businesses from all over Taiwan, China came together for technical exchange, enhancing the capacity and quality of Taiwan's coffee industry, and it has already become a benchmark for coffee roasting! The efforts of these coffee masters have also helped Taiwan coffee gradually move toward the international stage. In the future, reviews and improvements will be made to make the coffee festival more spectacular year after year!
