What to pay attention to after taking cuttings of flowers

What should be noted after flower cuttings are taken

After taking flower cuttings, note the following:

①Shading. Strong sunlight causes water to evaporate quickly, leading to water loss and affecting the survival rate of the cuttings. Cuttings in wooden boxes or flower pots should be placed outdoors at night to receive dew.

②Watering. The first watering must be thorough, and afterward keep the soil moist; softwood cuttings need an air humidity of 80℃-90℃.

③Temperature. Most softwood flower cuttings root best at 20℃-25℃; the optimal rooting temperature for tropical plants is 25℃-30℃, which can promote root growth. It is especially important to note that before rooting, the soil must never be loosened and fertilizer must never be applied, otherwise the survival rate will be affected.
