Warm up this autumn and winter in Taichung: four major hot spring areas jointly offer bonus discounts

Autumn is the time to go soak in Taichung's hot springs! In conjunction with the domestic travel autumn and winter subsidy, the Taichung City Government Tourism and Travel Bureau and hot spring operators have jointly launched a bonus discount program, including discounts on stays at hot spring hotels or complimentary afternoon tea, warmly inviting the public to soak in Taichung's fine springs, from the high-quality waters of the "Beauty Spring" to experiences ranging from the city outskirts to mountain forests, taking in rich cultural activities and natural scenery and enjoying a hot spring trip that heals body and mind.

Lin Hsiao-chi, Director-General of the Taichung City Government Tourism and Travel Bureau, said that visitors staying at Taichung hot spring hotels can enjoy bonus perks offered by operators, including Shenmugu Holiday Hotel's weekday deluxe double room at 30% off before the end of November, Uni-Ku Kuan Resort's weekday double room with three meals per night for 5,280 yuan before the end of the year, Longgu Hotel's complimentary nude-spring soaking voucher with stays, Guye Homestay's 1,000 yuan discount on stays, Kukuan Hot Spring Hotel's weekday double room with three meals per night starting at 2,599 yuan, and Mingzhi Hot Spring Hotel's complimentary dinner with stays.

Taichung Sun Hot Spring Resort offers a weekday public bath package with all-you-can-eat buffet for just 888 yuan per person; the resort's public pools and private bath rooms with meals are available at discounted prices on both weekdays and holidays. Kirin Peak Hot Spring Hotel's early-bird promotion from 6 to 10 a.m. offers public pool soaking for 150 yuan plus breakfast; Dongshi Forest Farm Recreation Area gives each room a 250 yuan agricultural tourism experience voucher with stays, and more.

The Tourism and Travel Bureau said that during the domestic travel autumn and winter subsidy period, it is the perfect time for independent travelers to visit Taichung for sightseeing and hot spring soaking. A series of exciting events will follow one after another at the end of the year: the International Dance Carnival kicks off gorgeously at the end of October, followed by the Xinshe Flower Sea and the International Flower Carpet Festival in November, and in December the 2020 Taiwan Lantern Festival will grandly light up at the Wenxin Forest Park secondary lantern area. Come to downtown Taichung in autumn and winter to enjoy the auditory and visual feast of these wonderful events, then take bus route 153 or 850 to Guguan to soak in fine springs for only 60 yuan, and head into the quiet mountains to soak and stroll, enjoying a natural forest bath and hot spring bath, satisfying all the joys of the city outskirts at once.
