Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che yesterday (the 8th) attended a press conference together with Liao Hung-mou, chairman of the Poultry Farmers' Association, and Chuang Shu-chun, director of the Family Assistance Foundation, to promote the "Let's Enjoy Domestic Chicken Banquet" event to be held on October 26 at Zeng-Wen Senior Industrial Vocational High School in Madou District, encouraging everyone to sponsor a table for charity; in addition to donating 5% of the NT$4,000 table fee to the Family Assistance Foundation, the public is welcome to look for labels such as CAS or traceability certification and give priority to buying the most local and freshest Tainan chicken.

Mayor Huang Wei-che said that the city government spares no effort in helping with agricultural marketing, and the public is welcome to enthusiastically take part in the livestock carnival on the 12th and the chicken banquet table event on the 26th, enjoying good food while supporting charity; industry, government and academia from the central to the local level will also work together to do a good job on epidemic prevention and food safety controls.

The Tainan City Agriculture Bureau said that when buying domestic fresh chicken, please look for fresh chicken with a qualified slaughter label or CAS and traceability certification labels, as the quality is more assured, so you can buy with confidence and eat with peace of mind. Orders for the "Let's Enjoy Domestic Chicken Banquet" table event will open at 8 a.m. on the 9th and run until 5 p.m. on October 21, or until all seats are filled.
