Nutrition Lunch Consensus Camp Takes the Stage: Yunlin County Government Matches and Selects Quality Agricultural, Fishery, Livestock and Poultry Products

Yunlin County - At 14:30 on the afternoon of yesterday (the 2nd), the second "Yunlin County Nutrition Lunch Consensus Camp and Forum on Selecting Local Quality Agricultural, Fishery, Livestock and Poultry Products" was held in the first meeting room on the 4th floor of the county government office, bringing together nutrition lunch secretaries from schools within the jurisdiction. At the meeting, certified agricultural, fishery, livestock and poultry product businesses including the Xiluo Fruit and Vegetable Production Cooperative, asparagus traceability expert Huang Zhiwei, the Kouhu Fish Production Cooperative, Taiye Livestock Production, and Yunzhang Ranch were invited to explain how to ensure safety, in order to improve students' health.

Wei Shengde, Director of the Yunlin County Agriculture Department, stated that Yunlin County is an important major agricultural county and a major production area for rice, vegetables, fishery products, and livestock and poultry, and its products are also the freshest and of the best quality. In order to allow students to eat Yunlin County's quality, fresh and safe livestock and poultry products, the county government has held matchmaking forums and consensus camps many times to proactively match nutrition lunches with Yunlin's local quality livestock and poultry products. At present, 11 schools including Dounan High School, Taixi Elementary School, Lunfeng Elementary School, Mailiao Elementary School, Yuanchang Elementary School, Shiliu Elementary School, Liren Elementary School, Jianguo Junior High School, Taixi Junior High School, Douliu Junior High School, and Chongde Junior High School have proactively chosen, or asked suppliers to purchase, local quality livestock and poultry products. The county government is very grateful for the schools' dedication and hopes that more schools will participate.

The Yunlin County Agriculture Department stated that in order to allow Yunlin schoolchildren to eat quality agricultural, fishery, livestock and poultry products from within the jurisdiction, Yunlin County - will continue to provide guidance and actively matchmake.
