How to clean potted flowers

Potted flowers covered in dust not only lose their ornamental value, but their growth rate is also affected, so they must be cleaned. Generally speaking, spraying water directly can only wash away the loose dust newly settled on the plant; to clean the plant thoroughly, other measures are also needed.

When cleaning potted flowers, first wet the plant with clean water, then support the part of the plant to be cleaned with your left hand, dip a clean soft cloth in water with your right hand, and wipe away the dust. Note that the young leaves and young shoots on the plant only need a spray of clean water. It is mainly the old leaves and old branches that have thick and abundant dust and need to be wiped carefully.

For especially dirty parts of the plant, you can dip a soft cloth in a 0.1% laundry detergent solution and wipe them. After that, put cooled boiled water in a small spray bottle and rinse the plant; areas where laundry detergent was used should be rinsed several more times. This is because boiled water has low hardness and is less likely to leave water marks on the plant's surface, making the plant look smooth and lovely, full of vitality.
