Taoyuan Mayor Cheng Wen-tsan went to Dainan Forest Park on the afternoon of the 15th to attend the 2019 Taoyuan Land Art Festival themed activity "Junxiang Fermented Tofu" and the performance "Mr. Bottle Magic Troupe's 'Grandma's Gift'", and toured the land art works in the Dainan exhibition area. Mayor Cheng Wen-tsan said that during the consecutive Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, citizens and friends from other counties and cities who attended the 2019 Taoyuan Land Art Festival came in an endless stream, and there are still many finale performances not to be missed in the coming week. Everyone is welcome to continue participating enthusiastically.

While participating in the "Junxiang Fermented Tofu" activity, Mayor Cheng Wen-tsan said that military dependents' village culture is one of Taoyuan's important cultural assets, and dishes from various regions have merged to form today's rich Taiwanese cuisine and snack culture, becoming an indispensable good taste in memory. The themed activity "Junxiang Fermented Tofu" combines local and historical characteristics to show the multiple facets of the combination of nature and humanities in Dainan Forest Park. In particular, Daxi's dried tofu is especially famous. Tofu that has been soaked in salt water and sun-dried, then fermented with soybean koji or rice koji to make fermented tofu, is also one of Taoyuan's specialty products.

While watching the magic family drama "Grandma's Gift" brought by Mr. Bottle Magic Troupe, Mayor Cheng Wen-tsan said that this play integrates magic, allowing children to believe in miracles and grow up happily in a world full of imagination. In addition, next week's themed activities "Ju Percussion Group", "MONTUNOS Latin Band", "Huang Rui-feng Formosa Jazz Orchestra", and "Taoyuan Local Outstanding Team Longtan Philharmonic Orchestra" will bring popular songs, and "Netherlands CLOSE-ACT Stilt Theater" will also bring its Taiwan premiere work as the finale performance. Citizens and friends are invited to continue participating enthusiastically in the series of activities of the 2019 Taoyuan Land Art Festival and see the charms of artistic creation different from the past.
