Bali Flash Sand Sculpture will be on display from September 7 to 8
The Bali Flash Sand Sculpture will be on display on September 7 and September 8
Since the Bali City Sand Sculpture opened at the Wedding Plaza on August 10, I believe everyone has been looking forward to the flash sand sculpture. The world's first sand sculpture created to promote environmental protection and creative issues that is quickly submerged, the 4 m long, 3 m wide, 1.8 m high "Disappearing Ice Field" is expected to be displayed on September 7 (Sat), and the 50 m long, 10 m wide "Giant Sand Painting" is expected to be displayed on September 8 (Sun). Please do not forget to come to Bali to see the exhibition.
In recent years, due to global warming, the Arctic ice has been melting faster than it freezes, seriously threatening the survival of polar bears. Living in the subtropics, we cannot witness with our own eyes the ice fields far away in the Arctic disappearing, but through this sand sculpture "Disappearing Ice Field", we can feel as if we are there and experience the crisis of warming, and together protect the Earth in the future. The "Disappearing Ice Field" is expected to start tamping sand at around 9:30 on September 7, start sculpting at around 10:30, and be completed at around 14:00. After completion, it will be submerged and disappear after the river tide rises at 18:03.
Flash sand sculpture is a great challenge for sand sculptors. Sand sculptors use the river's ebb tide to quickly create and sculpt, and must finish before the high tide. Normally, carving a sand sculpture may take 3~5 days, but this time it can only be completed in about 3~5 hours, which is an extremely difficult challenge. Citizens and friends are welcome to come together during the daytime on September 7 and September 8 to watch the sand sculptors' challenge - flash sand sculpture. In the evening, continue to see the light sculpture themed "Joy and Delight", with many light environment facilities such as the Qiongding Pavilion, high heels, pumpkin carriage, aqua-blue ripple light corridor and Perfect Love Song waiting for you to experience.
