What are the things to pay attention to when placing flowers at home
Household potted flowers or greenhouse flowers used as indoor decoration or for flower exhibitions are currently quite common. Potted flowers should be displayed and placed rationally according to the ecological habits of the flowers and the purpose of use. So how exactly should household flowers be placed, and are there any precautions?
Generally, tall ornamental plants are suitable for display in the entrance hall, such as Norfolk Island pine (Araucaria heterophylla), Indian rubber tree (Ficus elastica), large split-leaf philodendron (Monstera deliciosa), bougainvillea (Bougainvillea spectabilis), and so on, forming an impressive, colorful, graceful and spectacular scene that leaves a good impression.
For shade-loving flowers, depending on their growth habits, after being placed indoors for a certain period of time they need to be moved out, given scattered light, and kept in a growing state. Usually, the foliage types among flowers are relatively shade-tolerant and are suitable for longer indoor display. Sun-loving flowers, however, cannot endure shade for a long time; normal growth requires a certain amount of sunlight. Therefore, sun-loving flowers must be placed in a spot with light; otherwise they will show wilting leaves, drooping branches, dull flower colors, and a lifeless state. Most species among the flowering types are sun-loving flowers, but being displayed indoors for 3 to 5 days during the flowering period to be enjoyed has little effect.
The height of indoor hanging potted flowers should be slightly above eye level, which makes it easy to create a scene and appreciate them. In order to improve the ornamental effect, pottery pots and porcelain pots are often used as outer pots for coir-fired pots (clay pots), and the potted flowers are moved indoors for decoration and accent. Experienced people often rotate and place many potted flowers so as to always keep the flowers and plants lively, vigorous, thriving and lush in appearance. Small potted flowers such as asparagus fern (Asparagus setaceus), umbrella plant (Cyperus alternifolius), hydroponic narcissus, small cactus balls, and so on, are suitable for tables, desks, or cabinets. From this it can be seen that suitable environmental conditions are very important for the growth of flowers and trees.
