2019 Dongshi Summer by the Sea Taiwan Beer Refreshing Night
The 2019 Dongshi Summer by the Sea event entered its second day on the 7th, with the Jiayou Warriors obstacle course game, Taiwan Beer Refreshment, the Cool Band and the Blue Rhapsody Band appearing one after another. Starting at 1 p.m., people and vehicles jammed Caixia Boulevard, and crowds surged at the Fisherman's Wharf. Taking advantage of the clear weather, parents brought their children to play in the water and sand, and they were overjoyed. At 7 p.m., Taiwan Beer Refreshing Night took the stage. Visitors enjoyed the sea breeze, listened to band performances, ate grilled fresh oysters and happily drank Taiwan Beer. The relaxed atmosphere made people reluctant to let the night end.
Hsu Yu-jen, director of the Chiayi County Culture and Tourism Bureau, pointed out that the weather on the 7th was cool and comfortable, and visitors came from afar. Children happily played in the water area, and the sand painting DIY was fully booked. When the children saw the Jiayou Warriors obstacle course game, they were so happy they screamed with excitement. Registration was limited to 100 people per day, and those who successfully completed the course had a chance to win a warrior medal and small gifts. The children gave it all their strength and had a great time. It will also be available next Saturday and Sunday.
Taiwan Beer Refreshing Night opened lively at 7 p.m., with the Cool Band and Blue Rhapsody rock music appearing in turn. Visitors ate delicious food while listening to music. This is the Dongshi outdoor Lounge Bar. Visitors were immersed in the romantic summer atmosphere, getting more high-spirited as the night went on.
The Culture and Tourism Bureau said that coming up on July 13-14 will be a 90-minute fire dance show by Taiwan's only professional fire dance troupe, "Coming True," as well as a 15-minute musical fireworks show comparable to New Year's Eve fireworks. The Culture and Tourism Bureau encouraged visitors to make more use of the free shuttle bus between Dongshi Junior High School and Dongshi Fisherman's Wharf to reduce the trouble of finding parking spaces.
