Tainan Zoumalai Grassland Music Festival kicks off with a buzz on the 6th

Tainan City - together with the Tainan City Farmers' Association, is holding the "Zoumalai Grassland Music Festival Rural Carnival and Agricultural Products Exhibition and Sale." A press conference was held yesterday (the 1st) to announce that over two consecutive weekends from July 6 to July 14, a series of local smallholder and cultural-creative markets will be set up at Zoumalai Farm, and at night there will also be performances by theater troupes and well-known artist groups, leading the public to experience a romantic evening of roaming the grassland, gazing at the starry sky and listening to music. Mayor Huang Wei-che welcomes the public to come and enjoy it with the whole family; the various high-quality agricultural products and wonderful activities on site will surely send everyone home fully satisfied.

Mayor Huang Wei-che said that this is the first time Zoumalai Farm has held a youthful event like a music festival; the farm's green green grassland is a quite famous scenic spot, and on top of that, holding a concert at night for the first time means everyone can lie on the grass and listen to and watch the performances, which he believes will be an event well worth looking forward to. In addition, there are high-quality specialty agricultural products presented by 32 farmers' associations in Tainan, and the public must enter early, strolling the agricultural products market by day and listening to music at night, spending a wonderful holiday together.

The Tainan City Agriculture Bureau said that the Grassland Music Festival Rural Carnival starting July 6 was planned to drive the development of local friendly agriculture and promote Tainan's local specialty agricultural products, and includes a series of activities such as local smallholder and cultural-creative handmade markets, food-and-agriculture education experiences and acrobatic variety shows. Among them, the experience courses are very rich, including food-and-agriculture education and farming experience DIY, rural children's folk toy DIY, pasture grass steamed bun DIY, and also green mango DIY and other courses, with activities carried out based on the concept of seasonal shun flavors, letting adults and children alike get to know Tainan's local ingredients and places of origin, and also letting children learn to cherish food and understand the connection between ingredients, land and the environment. In addition, there are also clown balloon shows, magical bubble shows and street performer performances on site.
