Can frostbitten succulents still be saved? Moving them into an air-conditioned room may kill them faster

If a frostbitten succulent is moved directly from a sub-zero ambient temperature into an air-conditioned room at 20-30°C, it may die faster. So how should we save frostbitten succulents?

How to save frostbitten succulents

When a succulent gets frostbitten, never move the frostbitten plant directly from a sub-zero temperature into a warm room at over 20°C. Too great a temperature difference may kill it outright!

The correct approach is to first let the succulent acclimatise in a low temperature (for example, around 5-10°C), then slowly move it somewhere warm. In the north, heated homes can reach over 20°C, so you can first put the plant on a cooler balcony, let it adjust for a while, then bring it indoors. If the balcony is still 10°C at night, just leave it on the balcony to recover.

In the south, fellow plant lovers have no heating at home, so indoors is not too warm; just bring them straight inside, and there is no need to worry too much about the temperature difference.
