Take one or several plants with similar habits, use your own creativity, and plant them in a transparent glass container to form a miniature plant landscape world that is both ornamental and fun, also called a bottle garden. Bottle gardens are simple to make, and whether placed on a windowsill or an office desk, they are a delightful "glass garden" that will lift your mood whenever you see it~

Materials: glass bottle, soil, plants, small stones

Step 1: Prepare the required materials. For bottle garden plants, generally choose small specimens, mostly ferns, Fittonia, trailing vines or pearl grass, maidenhair fern, Peperomia, Cyrtomium, Saxifraga stolonifera, Peperomia (radiator plant), etc. For the substrate, choose materials with strong breathability and water retention, such as cinders, vermiculite, LECA (expanded clay pebbles), and perlite.

Step 2: Place a layer of pebbles at the bottom of the glass container for drainage. Before putting in the pebbles, scald and soak the stones in hot water to sterilise and disinfect them.

Step 3: Water the plant lightly in its original container and wait a few minutes for it to drain, so that when it is placed into the glass container there is no need to irrigate. Before planting, never water it too wet, as this makes it hard to remove from the pot. To make the small plants sit at the front and the large ones at the back, you can spread the soil at a slight slope, higher at the back and lower at the front.
