Learn the DIY method for making bonsai make your own fresh handmade wall hanging

  Want to add some small decorations to your walls at home? A fresh handmade wall hanging is a good choice. Doing it yourself also lets you enjoy more of life's pleasures.

  Materials needed:

  Paper (two colors with strong contrast), craft knife, glue, wooden strips, string

  Step one:

  Draw the plant leaves you like; forms with more lines, such as Monstera deliciosa (Swiss cheese plant) and palms, will be more suitable.

  Step two:

  Cut away the stem part of the leaf, use the craft knife to cut out the shape of the leaf blade, stopping at every turn and not cutting all the way through.

  Step three:

  Place the cut paper over another sheet of paper in a different color, glue the four edges, and gently adjust the shape of the leaf blade to make the layers more obvious.
