Eraser Kingdom: New Taipei's First Stationery Tourism Factory Opens

New Taipei's first stationery tourism factory, "Prince Creative Stationery Kingdom," grandly opened yesterday (the 18th)! New Taipei City has been promoting the industrial tourism guidance and transformation program for 10 years, having assisted more than 20 businesses in transforming and upgrading, creating a new platform for industrial tourism. Prince Stationery started out with erasers, actively innovating and developing the plasticity and creativity of erasers, and has become a designated licensed stationery manufacturer for internationally renowned brands such as Hello Kitty and Disney, propelling Taiwan's stationery industry onto the international stage and sustaining its historical culture.

Prince Stationery is a stationery manufacturer spanning three generations. From developing Taiwan's first PP-material pencil case and the first F-120 yellow-barrel ballpoint pen, to the second generation producing Taiwan's first eight-color extruded eraser, it has become a designated licensed stationery manufacturer for internationally renowned brands such as Hello Kitty and Disney, letting the world see Taiwan. It is one of the few stationery manufacturers in Taiwan with precious industrial cultural heritage and R&D and production capabilities. In 2017, New Taipei City began assisting Prince Stationery in participating in the preparatory guidance program. Through transformation into a tourism-oriented operation, it introduces the eraser production process and the historical and cultural background of the stationery industry as well as the local spirit of traditional industry, driving the development of the Linkou area and enriching local industrial features. In addition, to commemorate the enterprise's legacy, Prince Stationery specially produced a giant eraser of approximately 10,755 cm2, placed in the venue to apply for a Guinness World Record, inviting the public to take photos and check in to witness Prince Creative Stationery Kingdom creating a new milestone. There is also much on-site that is wonderful and worth seeing, making visitors feel the trip was well worthwhile!
