The Taichung City Government Tourism and Travel Bureau held the launch press conference for the "I Am the Hiking King - Dakeng Trail Marketing and Promotion Event" yesterday (the 5th) at Yangming Municipal Building, and released the Dakeng Trail promotional video shot by the highly popular outdoor photographer Paul, perfectly interpreting the beauty of the trail. Paul himself also attended in person to kick off the event.

Tourism and Travel Bureau Director Lin Xiaoqi said that the city government has launched three activities: the Dakeng Trail photography contest, the AR Challenge Race, and the naming vote. Prizes especially prepared for hiking and photography enthusiasts include, among others, the top three winners of the photography contest receiving a SONY A6400 mirrorless camera, a DJI drone, and a Gopro Hero7, so do not miss out.

In addition, participants in the AR Challenge Race and the Dakeng Trail naming vote also have a chance to receive great gifts such as a Garmin hiking GPS watch, a Tokuyo leg massager, and a SHARP air purifier.
