New Cold-Protection Tips for Hydroponic Flowers

To protect hydroponic flowers from the cold and keep them warm, you can first take discarded foam plastic boards, cut them according to the dimensions of the hydroponic vessel, then piece, join and glue them together to wrap the vessel. When the room temperature falls below 10°C, you can spray New High Lipid Film on the hydroponic flowers to form a polymer film for insulation, cover them with old newspapers or plastic film, or raise the water temperature to 18°C to 25°C, which will give a fairly good cold-protection effect; if you keep a tank of tropical fish at home, then set a shelf on top of the fish tank and place the hydroponic flowers on it, which can also have a cold-protection effect.

When the room temperature falls below 10°C, most hydroponic flowers are in a dormant or semi-dormant state. At this time you should stop applying flower hydroponic nutrient solution and use only tap water to grow them, while at the same time paying attention at all times to cleaning the plant roots and keeping the vessel clean. Change the water generally once every 10 days to 15 days; when changing the water you can appropriately mix in warm water so that the water temperature stays at about 18°C to 25°C. If the water quality is clear and clean, the plants are growing robustly and there is no root rot, changing the water once every 15 days to 20 days or even 30 days will not affect their growth. For those hydroponic flowers that are still growing slowly, you can apply root-drenching agent and nutrient solution once every 10 days to 15 days to promote their healthy growth. (Dadi)
