In recent years, they can be seen at almost every major protest in Kaohsiung City. Whether it was the 2015 "Matoushan landfill siting controversy," or the summer 2016 "demolition of the Qishan Dadigouding Taiping Marketplace," or even earlier in 2013, when China Steel's "converter slag" was illegally dumped by unscrupulous operators on nearly four fen of farmland in Dalin Village, Yuantan, Qishan District, "Taiwan Youth Banana" was at the forefront of the local opposition.
On top of that, "Taiwan Youth Banana" especially loves to have fun, which is also well known throughout social movement circles.
