Natural Wood Carving and Painting Course: A Landscape on a Small Box

Beautiful memories from the mountains and forests, through your own hands, carved, sanded, and painted,
to create a scenery that belongs to you alone.
Using natural materials, craft a deeply beloved natural landscape to keep by your side.

Shiwei X Qiri Studio jointly present a wood painting course

Shiwei will guide students in carving and sanding the box lid, starting from a flat surface and turning the landscape they long for into three dimensions, cut by cut.
Then learn to drill holes, secure with fasteners, and assemble it together with the finely crafted box body.
Qiri will help students understand natural coatings made from plants and minerals and their properties,
practice basic wood painting techniques, and color the wooden box so the natural scenery comes to life.
