An excellent American hybrid variety with strong resistance, not fussy about soil, and very fast growth, but poor cold tolerance. The passion fruit 'Mantianxing' weighs about 150 g per fruit, several times larger than ordinary varieties; honey-sweet passion fruit, the fruit is sweet and not sour, with a rich fruity aroma, a dual-purpose variety for fresh sale and processing. Generally a single plant can produce 40-60 jin in the same year, and the yield per mu can reach 4000 jin.

The passion fruit 'Mantianxing' has a beautiful appearance; its color is purplish red, but it has small white spots, just like little stars, so it is called the passion fruit 'Mantianxing'.

A cultivation method for the passion fruit 'Mantianxing', characterized in that it comprises the following steps:
(1) selecting a high-sugar passion fruit 'Mantianxing' variety;
(2) adjusting soil pH: using lime to adjust the soil pH to between 7.2-7.4;
(3) establishing a passion fruit orchard base: using water pipes to erect a trellis, with trellis posts 3 m high, and using fishing line to build the top of the trellis, with at least 1 steel wire crossbeam stretched between every 2 water pipes, and multiple vertical steel wire uprights arranged on the crossbeams, with the spacing of each vertical steel wire upright being 30-50 cm, forming side nets;
(4) planting: adopting trellis-type cultivation, with row spacing of 2-3 m, plant spacing of 2-3 m, and a specification of 80-90 plants/mu, digging furrows 70 cm wide to form planting ditches, and providing auxiliary ditches at the sides of the planting ditches, with a distance of 5-10 cm between the auxiliary ditches and the planting ditches, and several connecting through-holes provided between the auxiliary ditches and the planting ditches; after digging, filling the auxiliary ditches with fermented compost, and adding 70 L of cultivation nutrient solution, then backfilling the excavated mature soil and then backfilling raw soil; subsequently planting the passion fruit, and after planting, drip-irrigating the seedlings with fermentation liquid;
(5) pruning and training: in March, after the seedlings are planted and survive, the buds should be removed at any time, leaving only the terminal bud of the main vine, and tying the vine to the support post so that the plant climbs onto the side nets as quickly as possible; when the plants between the two side nets connect and block sunlight, pruning the top plants, leaving 4 side vines on each side, growing toward both sides; after the side nets are covered with plants, performing side short pruning, and spraying a sterilizing agent at the cut sites;
(6) flowering treatment: before flowering and fruiting, placing beehives at the two side nets; after the passion fruit blooms, using a brush to dip honey and apply it to the side nets at 7 o'clock every day, and sprinkling floral water to dilute it, and from late June to early July applying 150-fold potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution for spraying treatment, and carrying out supplementary fertilization treatment, using a 3-month three-element compound fertilizer supplementary fertilization task, then performing derusting work on the side nets, after which the fruits can be picked
(7) temperature control treatment: controlling the greenhouse temperature at 30-36°C to ensure the suitable temperature for passion fruit growth.

2. The cultivation method for the passion fruit 'Mantianxing' according to claim 1, characterized in that: the compost described in step (4) is prepared according to the following raw material weight proportions: 47% pig manure + 20% organic fertilizer with a nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium ratio of 2:1:4, with the remainder made up to 100% with water, and placed in a fermentation tank to ferment for 20 days.

3. The cultivation method for the passion fruit 'Mantianxing' according to claim 1, characterized in that: the side nets are replaced once every 2 years.

4. The cultivation method for the passion fruit 'Mantianxing' according to claim 1, characterized in that: during the flowering treatment in step (6), the honey is applied to the middle and top positions of the side nets.

5. The cultivation method for the passion fruit 'Mantianxing' according to claim 1, characterized in that: in step (2), the top trellis formed by the fishing line is a plurality of rhombuses, and in step (7), the greenhouse is erected on top of the top trellis formed by the fishing line.
