Taoyuan Dagushan Wild Lily Season: Mother's Wild Lily Day

To welcome the arrival of Mother's Day and as the event draws to a close, the Taoyuan City Dagushan Wild Lily Season will hold "Mother's Wild Lily Day" at 15:30 on May 11, the final day of the event, inviting four famous Taiwanese Hokkien singers including Cai Jialin and Cao Yawen to take turns performing in a relay, bringing a wonderful musical feast. At 11:00 that morning, the plaza will host the Dagushan local agricultural creative market, allowing visitors to browse and experience the specialty agricultural products provided by local small farmers while enjoying the beautiful wild lilies and scenery. In the afternoon, listen to moving songs, then admire the marble art sculpture "Cocoon" created by Italian artist Francesca Bernardini, feel the waves of wild lilies and the bursts of floral fragrance, and pair it with Dagushan's unique sea of stars and land night view, bringing a triple enjoyment of sight, smell and hearing. Welcome to bring your mother to Dagushan to celebrate Mother's Day!

Since "2019 Bai Shi He Yi - Dagushan Wild Lily Season" opened on April 27, it has attracted nearly 80,000 visitors to admire the flowers, an increase of more than 50,000 visits compared to last year's planting event. Among them, those who took the holiday flower-viewing shuttle bus totaled about 5,000, and those who participated in farm experiences totaled 1,432, an increase of 1,107 people compared to last year.
