Keelung Liudu Science and Technology Park Manufacturers' Association Officially Established
The Keelung City Liudu Industrial Zone, established in the 62nd year of the Republic of China [1973], after decades of development and transformation, has gradually evolved from a traditional industrial park into the Keelung Liudu Science and Technology Park, making the Liudu Science and Technology Park a major hub for high-tech industries. It currently hosts 48 well-known enterprises in the technology industry. With the rapid changes in the domestic and international industrial environment, the past business model of relying solely on a single manufacturer to break new ground can no longer apply to today's competitive international market. Cross-industry cooperation and the introduction of effective external guidance resources are necessary to create new opportunities for success. In view of this, after months of communication, coordination, and preparation among the manufacturers in the Liudu Science and Technology Park, and under the guidance of the Economic Development Department and the Social Affairs Department of the Keelung City Government, the "Keelung City Liudu Science and Technology Park Manufacturers' Association," initiated by 15 founding member manufacturers, was officially established on April 17, 108th year of the Republic of China [2019], witnessed by Keelung City Government Secretary-General Li Tongcheng and Economic Development Department Director Lin Qinghai.
The association elected General Manager Ke Minlong of China Electronics Corporation and Executive Deputy General Manager Wu Xiujuan of China Terminal Electric Co., Ltd. as the first chairman and standing supervisor, respectively. The establishment of this association will cooperate with government policies, coordinate labor-management cooperation, improve work efficiency to achieve the goal of increasing production, and promote mutual development among manufacturers as its purpose. As for the preparatory chairman who fully facilitated the birth of the association, Executive Deputy General Manager Wu Xiujuan of China Terminal Electric Co., Ltd., after successfully transitioning to standing supervisor, finally fulfilled the expectations and important task entrusted by the mayor and manufacturers. During the preparation period, she made many trips and felt every bit of the communication and coordination in her heart. The official establishment and operation of the association has finally taken a major milestone step, with hopes that the future development of the park will yield sweet returns.
