Greenhouse asparagus adopts new technology, and smart management saves time and effort. Asparagus from Jiangjun District in Tainan has a strong reputation. The Jiangjun Farmers' Association, together with the Tainan District Agricultural Research and Extension Station (hereinafter referred to as the Tainan ARES) and Taiwan University, held a greenhouse asparagus technology application demonstration yesterday (the 16th), showcasing the use of "water-saving drip irrigation for asparagus," "labor-saving machinery," and "wireless sensing devices," providing farmers with more time-saving and effort-saving methods.

Wu Mingcheng, director-general of the Jiangjun District Farmers' Association, said that the asparagus planting area in Jiangjun District reaches 37 hectares, of which 20 hectares are cultivated in greenhouses. Improving the efficiency of greenhouse asparagus cultivation is one of the association's key extension priorities and also a major focus for Jiangjun District's future development.
