Everyday delicacies of the military dependents' village plunge you straight into the world of noodle-based snacks
Taipei is a city made for wandering and lingering, where little stories always unfold in unexpected alleys...
A few weeks ago, by chance, I ended up at Taipei Bridge Station in Sanchong, and it turned out that this "Air Force Sanchong First Village" is a new photo spot these days. The information shows it is a well-preserved air force anti-aircraft military dependents' village (juancun), and each dependents' housing unit has its own curated theme and story (quite suitable for visitors of all ages to walk around and take a look).

I actually think the people organizing the event are very thoughtful, always finding different juancun instructors and snacks to offer everyone. Whatever the culture, I believe it all needs to be preserved and passed on!
Thank you to Juancun Flavor Kitchen for warming my heart and my stomach every week!
