A country that lets rivers run free: 317 International Day of Action for Rivers in Shuangxi, "Walk for the Rivers, Protect Dinglan Valley" draws a thousand responders

Starting at eight in the morning on Sunday, March 17, as the trains of the North Link Railway brought in group after group of walkers, the small square in front of Shuangxi Railway Station was immediately packed tight by more than a thousand participants pouring in one after another. These visitors from out of town had come to Shuangxi to take part in the "Second International Day of Action for Rivers," organized by the Shuangxi Reservoir Opposition Self-Rescue Association.
