Step 1: First take a square piece of paper, and choose your favorite color according to your own preference.

Step 2: Fold along the diagonal, then open it up, and a crease will appear, as shown in the picture.
Step 3: Along the two corners beside the crease, squeeze toward the middle, and you will get the shape shown in the picture.
Step 4: Just like folding a paper crane, fold the squeezed space in half, and you will get the shape shown in the picture, then press it flat.

Step 5: Find one side that forms a 90-degree angle with the bottom, and fold it into the shape shown in the picture.
Step 6: Press down flat along the middle line, and you will get the shape shown in the picture.
Step 7: Right after the previous step, align the center line to the left.
Step 8: Repeat the above method on the opposite side as well.
Step 9: All the sides must be pressed flat and straight.
Step 10: Then fold out this crease as shown in the picture.
Step 11: Along this crease, press the two pointed corners downward; do the same for the other sides.
Step 12: Then fold the topmost corner downward; fold the corners of all sides this way.
Step 13: Fold the closed pointed tip toward the center line in the middle.
Step 14: Once formed, stand it upright and open out the opposite corners. This is our way of folding a lily. Can you also fold one that looks like the one in our illustrated guide to folding a lily?
