How to care for Peperomia

[Plant care]: In summer, water once every 2-3 days; in winter, water once every 4-6 days (warm water around 10°C is preferable) (adjust according to actual room temperature changes; the principle is to water when dry, and water thoroughly when watering). In hot weather, water the leaves.

[Habits]: Prefers a warm, humid and semi-shady environment, relatively drought-tolerant, strongly shade-tolerant, not cold-tolerant, not high-temperature-tolerant, requires relatively high air humidity, and dislikes direct sunlight. Prefers loose, fertile, well-drained moist soil.

[Fertilizing]: Dilute liquid fertilizer should be used to add nutrients to the purple-edged Peperomia, but concentrated fertilizer must not be used, otherwise it is prone to scorching to death.

[Details] Be careful to regularly remove dust from the leaves.

[Temperature & light]: The suitable temperature is around 25°C, and for overwintering the temperature must not be lower than 10°C. In winter, place it in a location with ample light; in summer, avoid direct sunlight. Repot once every 2-3 years.

[Propagation]: Division and leaf cutting propagation. Divide in spring and autumn. For leaf cutting propagation between May and June, use whole-leaf cuttings, with the cutting leaf bearing about 1 cm of petiole, insert to 1/3 of the leaf, use river sand etc. as the substrate, roots can form in 15 days at 20-25°C, and be careful to keep the substrate moist and maintain a certain air humidity.
