Unlocking the Disaster-Prevention Functions of Forests: A Fresh Look at Forests
"Typhoons," "torrential rain," and "landslides" seem to be everyone's shared memories of disasters. In recent years, the climate has also begun to show obvious changes. How should humanity face the growing number of extreme rainfall events, and how should we conduct ourselves? When going out for a holiday and getting close to mountains and rivers, we may also be placing ourselves in the midst of disaster risk. Disaster prevention and rescue will be something that both adults and children must face. Join the Luodong Nature Education Center to learn about the flood-control and disaster-reduction services provided by forests, understand the mechanisms and causes of soil and water disasters, and then find out how to prevent disasters, reduce disasters, and take shelter. From this day on, we will become disaster-prevention vanguards. Disaster prevention is not hard once you understand it!
