Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che Becomes the Best Salesman, Marketing Danei Avocado Seed Noodles

The Tainan City Agriculture Bureau held a press conference yesterday (the 5th) to market Danei avocado products. Mayor Huang Wei-che made a special appearance to show support, affirming that the creation of Danei avocado seed noodles and various avocado products is not only a model of local revitalization but also a success story in community building. At the press conference, Mayor Huang Wei-che also took on the role of best salesman, vigorously promoting avocado seed tea, mosquito repellent spray and other avocado-derived products. In addition to displaying and selling them in the domestic market, he also expressed hope that the avocado seed noodles and products from 6 participating units heading to the Tokyo Food Show these few days to "compete abroad" will win over consumers' stomachs and put Tainan's agricultural specialties on the international stage.

During the cultivation of avocados, there will inevitably be some fruit with less attractive appearances. To keep farmers' hard work from going to waste, the community purchased unattractive fruit and avocado seeds from farmers. After gaining an in-depth understanding of the development potential of the avocado industry, Mr. Song Jun-ming, captain of the Tainan City Patrol Team, actively assisted the community in cooperating with the Top Ten Souvenir Jin Song Noodle Factory to successfully develop avocado seed noodles, launching a series of avocado seed noodle products including Sichuan-style peppercorn and chili, sesame, old-fashioned braised pork, Southeast Asian curry, Mongolian skewer, health-conscious light fragrant, and soup noodles. Avocado seeds are not easy to obtain; a pack of avocado seed noodles weighing about 90 grams on average requires 3 avocado seeds, about 20 grams of avocado seed powder, and is made purely by hand, showing just how precious avocado seed noodles are.

Mayor Huang Wei-che said that although it is just a small bowl of noodles, behind it are many beautiful stories of local revitalization. He hopes to help open up sales channels for avocado seed noodles, win the favor of international friends, and increase farmers' income; the tiny avocado seed carries great significance and is worthy of everyone's appreciation.
