When gardenia leaves dry out, water more, and do a good job of daily care

Gardenia is a flower that people are familiar with yet unfamiliar with. It is familiar because people often hear about gardenia in daily life, and unfamiliar because people rarely see gardenia flowers. When some people grow gardenias, they find that the leaves have dried out and do not know what to do.

Reasonable watering. During the growing period from April to September, gardenia needs the soil kept moist. Water as soon as the potting soil dries out; in the evening, you can use a spray bottle to sprinkle water on the leaves and fertilize. For plants that grow too vigorously with longer internodes, do not water in the evening; water again after the sun comes up in the morning.
Scientific fertilizing. Gardenia likes fertilizer. Add 3 percent decomposed material to the growing soil and use it as a base fertilizer. During the growing season, use cake fertilizer plus ferrous sulfate fermented into alum fertilizer water and apply it once a week, or use 0.1 percent humic acid complete-nutrition organic liquid fertilizer. At the bud stage, apply 1 to 2 times a 0.1 percent potassium dihydrogen phosphate aqueous solution, which can make the flowers larger and the fragrance richer. Stop fertilizing when the hot temperature is above 35°C and in autumn when it is below 15°C.
Get more sun. Gardenia likes light and can also grow in semi-shade for a long time, but the flowering branches will be longer and the flowers fewer. From July to August, shade is needed at noon against strong light
Be sure to provide reasonable shade in summer, and appropriately supplement cake fertilizer plus ferrous sulfate!
When gardenia leaves dry out, water more, and pay more attention during daily management, so that the gardenia leaves can be guaranteed to recover and become fresh and tender, and then bloom with fragrant, brilliant, and beautiful flowers during the flowering period. If its leaves wither, it will directly affect its flowering and results.
