With life so stressful

How can you do without eye-pleasing plants and flowers

Today's article is dedicated to the "lazy" you

Maybe you often travel for work, often work overtime

Without much time to tend the garden and care for plants

The following 5 plants can satisfy you

Give them a bit of care every ten days or half a month, and they will show their blooms for you all year round

Wax begonia

Wax begonia, also known as perpetual begonia, is a plant of the genus Begonia in the family Begoniaceae, a perennial herbaceous or woody plant. Wax begonia is the most common and most widely cultivated species among begonia plants.

Wax begonia has a graceful form, tender and glossy leaves, clustered flowers that bloom in all four seasons, and a slight fragrance, making it one of the main potted flowers for indoor and outdoor decoration. The crystal-clear emerald leaves and the tender, gorgeous flowers are striking yet not vulgar, magnificent and dignified. Used to accent a room, it is very fresh and elegant.

Care

1. Light:During care, wax begonia needs long hours of sunlight, but cannot be exposed to direct blazing sun, so when planting, it is best to choose a balcony with a shade awning;

2. Watering:Just keep it moist, and remember one thing: it must not be too wet or waterlogged;

3. Fertilizing:Applying a nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium fertilizer once a month can make the flowers and leaves lush;

4. Pruning:In summer, when it is hot and humid, you can moderately prune the branches so that the plants have good ventilation between them.

Moss rose

Moss rose, also known as pine-leaf peony and half-lotus, is a perennial flower of the genus Portulaca in the family Portulacaceae, often grown as an annual. It likes a warm, sunny and dry environment, blooms when it sees sunlight, and closes in the morning, at night and on cloudy days, hence the names "sun flower" and "noon flower."

It is native to Brazil in South America. It is now cultivated throughout China. It is famous for being easy to grow and easy to keep alive.

Care

1. Light:The most important thing in caring for moss rose is to have plenty of sunlight;

2. Watering:Water about once every 2~3 days, and never let the soil become damp or waterlogged. Keeping the soil in a semi-dry state will make it grow better. (If it is a rainy day, it is best to bring it indoors);

3. Pruning:When you find the branches and leaves are too dense, you can divide the plant into another pot, maintaining moderate growing space to allow good airflow.

Fine-leaf cigar flower

The cigar flower gets its name because its flower shape resembles a "cigar." The plant height is about 30-40 cm, but when potted it can bloom at about 10 cm. The flowers are axillary, the flowers have no petals, and their form is quite delicate and much loved. Each calyx is very long-lasting. It can be seen in flower almost all year round, but most abundantly in summer.

Care

1. Light:The more sunlight, the better the growth of the fine-leaf cigar flower. So it needs at least more than 4 hours of light every day;

2. Watering:Keep the soil moist, but it must not be waterlogged;

3. Fertilizing:Applying a little nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer each month helps it grow well. After the amount of flowers decreases in late autumn, you can stop fertilizing, shape and prune the branches and leaves, and move it to a sunny, wind-protected place to overwinter.

Dianthus

Dianthus, also known by names such as Xing'an dianthus, northern dianthus, drill-leaf dianthus and Mongolian dianthus, has a low plant form, stems like bamboo, and lush green foliage. Its natural flowering period is from May to September, and it can bloom from late spring to mid-autumn; when potted in a greenhouse, it can bloom in all four seasons. The flower colors include white, pink, red, rose, bright red, purple, light purple, yellow, blue and so on, colorful and endlessly varied.

Care

1. Light:It should be placed in a sunny place for care, but cannot be directly exposed to blazing sun;

2. Watering:Dianthus is not tolerant of dampness, so water it sparingly, and the pot must never be waterlogged, otherwise it will cause root rot.

Madagascar periwinkle

Madagascar periwinkle, also known as marigold grass, spring in all seasons, new every day, goose-head red and thirty thousand flowers. Its flowering period and fruiting period are almost all year round. In addition, it should be noted that the whole plant of Madagascar periwinkle is toxic and requires careful attention. After accidental ingestion, it can cause symptoms such as reduced white blood cells, reduced platelets, muscle weakness and paralysis of the limbs.

Care

1. Light:It should be kept in an environment with plenty of sunlight and long daylight hours;

2. Watering:In spring and summer, water once every two days; in autumn and winter, watering 1~2 times a week is enough.

3. Fertilizing:Applying a slow-release fertilizer once a month or once every three months will make it grow better. Prune it slightly in spring and autumn to encourage more abundant flowering, and the branches will always keep a youthful vigor.

Being lazy is not what you intended, but they won't mind,

Just give them a little care, and they will repay you with blooms.
