In today's households, growing flowers is becoming more and more common, but some people are still troubled by how to grow them. Below we share together all kinds of little tips for home flower growing. Take a quick look!

For home flower growing, it is best not to use chemical fertilizers often. The main fertilizers needed for growing flowers, such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, can all be collected from daily life. Mix these waste materials into old potting soil, add some water, put them in a plastic bag and place it in a corner. After a period of decomposition, they can turn into excellent organic fertilizer.

In addition, fermented rice-washing water, the water left over from sprouting beans, wood ash water, as well as rainwater and waste water from fish tanks, all contain a certain amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. As long as they are used in the right amount, they will promote the growth and development of flowers and trees.

In early spring, all kinds of flowers will enter a vigorous growing season. At this time, spray 1-3 rounds of 1% Bordeaux mixture on the leaf surfaces and the undersides of the leaves to prevent disease.

(1) Washing powder: dissolve one tablespoon of washing powder in 4 liters of water, and spray it on the leaves every two weeks to completely wipe out whiteflies and bacteria.

(2) Milk: mix 4 cups of flour and half a cup of milk into 20 liters of water, stir, filter through gauze and spray on the leaves to kill mites and their eggs.

(3) Beer: pour beer into a shallow dish placed under the soil of the flower pot; snails that crawl in will drown.

(4) When ants appear in the flower pot, soak cigarette butts and cut tobacco in hot water for one or two days. When the water turns dark brown, sprinkle part of the water on the flower stems and leaves, and after diluting the rest, pour it into the flower pot, and the ants will be wiped out.
