No money for flower pots? Make your own - simple, durable and money-saving
Intro
For someone who loves growing flowers, anything can be put to use, especially when there are no flower pots, the imagination really runs wild - any container around you can be used to grow flowers. So today the flower fanatic will share which containers we can use as substitutes when we have no flower pots for growing flowers; they look just as lovely, save money and are durable.

1. Plastic buckets
There are quite a lot of plastic buckets; the drink bottles left over from everyday drinks, liquor bottles, etc. Simply cut off the upper half of the bottle and you can plant flowers and plants in it, or grow a few kinds of vegetables, which is also quite good. If you have some painting skills, you can even make it into a cartoon flower pot; placed indoors it looks great too.

2. Milk powder cans
Milk powder cans are a bit harder to find. Generally, if there are small children at home, you will often see discarded milk powder cans. If you use milk powder cans to grow flowers it is relatively easy, because the opening is quite large, so generally no processing is needed and you can plant directly. They can be hung on the wall, or simply placed on a flower stand.

3. Tin cans
Tin cans are easily obtained by people who like drinking beer or beverages. Because the material of tin cans is relatively soft, you can use small scissors to trim and decorate them. However, they are not very practical for growing large flowers; you can choose some small ones, such as succulents, or small cactus-type plants, which are all very good.

4. Foam boxes
Foam boxes are actually not common. We can go to the vegetable market or a fruit shop; if you are fairly familiar with the owner, you can just ask for a few. Generally foam boxes are relatively large, so growing vegetables in them is quite good. They can be placed on an indoor balcony, or simply placed outdoors for growing.
5. Canning jars
Canned food is a beautiful memory for the post-80s generation; as children we usually only got to eat it when we were sick, but now it can be bought at any time. After eating the canned food inside, wash the glass jar clean and it can serve as a very good hydroponic container. You can also decorate it simply with hemp rope and hang it indoors; its ornamental value is no less than a bought hydroponic bottle.
6. Red wine bottles
To make a red wine bottle into a flower vessel, you need to use tools, because the material is glass, so you must be careful during the making process. The finished red wine bottle container is more suitable for growing small green plants, such as succulents, and looks fairly attractive.
7. Washbasins
Washbasins are quite common. Although not many people grow flowers in washbasins, the potted plants grown in them are equally full of ornamental value. You can use them to grow bowl lotus, or plant flowering plants in groups in them; when the flowers bloom they are also very beautiful.
No matter which kind of container you use to replace a flower pot, it is best to leave drainage holes during the making process. If you are making glass-type containers, be sure to protect yourself. These items are very common in our daily lives, so when growing flowers, if you have no flower pots, you can use these as substitutes. I wonder which ones you have used?
