Kashgar City's First Poultry Breeding Cooperative Established
On June 10, Ekber Haji, a poultry farmer from Huangdi Township, received the plaque for the poultry breeding cooperative from **Tursun Mamat, Deputy Mayor of Kashgar City, and said happily, "The cooperative has been established, and my farm's prospects are even broader now."
On June 10, Kashgar City's first poultry breeding cooperative was established in Huangdi Township. Leaders from Kashgar City, the Huangdi Township government, and relevant departments of industry and commerce and animal husbandry, along with more than twenty poultry farming households in the cooperative, held a simple yet lively inauguration ceremony outside Ekber Haji's farm.
The Huangdi Township Poultry Breeding Cooperative in Kashgar City is the first non-governmental organization voluntarily formed by poultry farming households in Kashgar City. Its establishment is of extremely great significance for promoting rural economic development in Kashgar City, strengthening cooperation among local poultry farming households in the purchase of production materials, the sale, processing, transportation and storage of agricultural products, and services such as technical information related to agricultural operations, and achieving the goal of rapid prosperity. The establishment of the cooperative will also drive the development of the poultry breeding industry in neighboring areas, and will play a positive role in promoting the construction of Kashgar City's egg and poultry export base and in seeking support from higher-level animal husbandry projects.
