Faku's aristocratic beef is 10 times more expensive than ordinary beef, helping farmers earn foreign exchange

Faku cattle
Faku County has adopted internationally advanced embryo transfer technology and introduced from abroad the "aristocrat" of the cattle family--Wagyu. At present, the county has improved 3,500 head of Wagyu, becoming the largest Wagyu population farm in China. On June 2, Xu Fenggui, deputy county magistrate of Faku County, said excitedly: "Our county has signed a sales contract with the largest Wagyu beef export company abroad, and Wagyu beef will become the 'stepping stone' for 'Faku cattle' to enter the world beef market. In October this year, Wagyu slaughter will be realized, and people will be able to eat Wagyu beef produced in Faku!" Wagyu beef is famous for being juicy, tender, nutritious and delicious. At the same time, with its advantages of fast growth, high meat yield and high efficiency, it has become the world-recognized best beef cattle breed. 1 kilogram of Wagyu beef is 10 times more expensive than ordinary beef. Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Russia and other countries are major consumers of cattle products. Due to limitations in land and other resources, these countries mainly rely on imports to meet their domestic demand for cattle products.
Aiming at this international market, Faku County has developed its cattle industry in accordance with the quality requirements of Japan, Russia and South Korea, making full preparations to enter the international market. In February this year, Muyuan Livestock Industry Co., Ltd. successfully recovered the first batch of Wagyu from farmers, and the company-led farmer breeding model was fully formed, with Wagyu rapidly breeding across the land of Faku. "Once you enter the gate of Faku, half are cattle and sheep, half are people." The folk rhyme bears witness to the long history of cattle raising here. To expand the scale of Wagyu breeding, Faku County has adopted the industrialized model of "company + base + farmers" to drive surrounding townships to carry out contract-based breeding. At present, the cattle inventory in Faku County has reached 230,000 head, and the county has 400 farming households raising more than 30 head each. Last year, the county's animal husbandry output value exceeded 1.6 billion yuan, accounting for 52% of the total agricultural output value, supporting "half of the sky" of the agricultural and rural economy.
According to reports, this year Faku County's cattle inventory will reach 400,000 head, 309 specialized breeding communities will be built, and the total output value of cattle raising and related industries will reach more than 25 billion yuan.
