2.5 Million Loaches Settle into an Ecological Aquaculture Park in Luzhou, Sichuan

    Recently, Sun Dachun, the owner of the aquatic ecological aquaculture park in Shuangjia Town, Longmatan District, seized the favorable turn of spring and summer for stocking loaches and introduced 2.5 million loaches from Chengdu into the fish ponds, officially entering the loach "production" stage.

For many years, the Party committee and government of Shuangjia Town have consistently made the development of a 10,000-mu pollution-free aquaculture base a priority for helping farmers increase their incomes, actively supporting the development of fishery production. They have now brought in 6 aquaculture operators, transferred 605 mu of land from farming households, and established the Shuangjia Town aquatic ecological aquaculture park. Driven by the government and led by large aquaculture operators, aquaculture in Shuangjia Town has entered a period of vigorous development.
