Wens Cooperative Farming Model Fully Promoted in Dafeng, Jiangsu

    On the morning of June 9, Dafeng City held a promotion meeting for the Wens cooperative farming model. Yin Yong, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and head of the Organization Department, attended the meeting.

Wens cooperative farming adopts the "company + farmer" business model, leaving the farming stage to farmers, and implements the "four unifications and one guarantee," namely unified provision of seedlings, feed, technical services, and veterinary drugs and vaccines, with products purchased back at a protective price. This business approach effectively resolves the problems of farmers lacking technology and experience in large-scale farming, injecting new vitality into the development of the large-scale farming industry and increasing farmers' incomes.

The meeting required that all towns and all departments vigorously carry out publicity activities for the Wens farming model, optimize the policy environment, increase support, cultivate large-scale farming households, and solidly advance the development of the city's livestock industry. Before the meeting, some participants from Dazhong, Xinfeng, Sanlong, Fangqiang and other towns made a group visit to sites including the Yancheng Wens Breeding Poultry Farm in Yibei Village, Xinfeng Town.
