Locust farming base officially established in Danwang, Lu'an, Anhui
Recently, Wang Qingjie, Zhang Kecheng and others, farmers from Danwang Township, received the "private partnership enterprise" business license handled for them by the Shunhe Industrial and Commercial Office. This signals that the province's first locust farming base has officially settled in Danwang Township, Yu'an District, Lu'an City, thus filling a gap in agricultural production technology within the province and becoming another new channel for local farmers to get rich.
Locusts have high nutritional value and are rich in protein and amino acids. They are not only a delicious dish and a nutritional health food, but also have high medicinal value. They are suitable for family farming, and the scale can be large or small; starting operations requires only 50 sq m of land. Production technology and market risks are small, and demand from aquatic product wholesalers and large restaurants is relatively high.
The Shunhe Industrial and Commercial Office suggested that they apply for a "private partnership enterprise" business license to avoid economic contract disputes, and at the same time helped them apply to register the "Yuwang" trademark, carry out order-based agricultural production, extend the duties of industry and commerce, and actively cultivate "agricultural-brand" products. The local government will also open a green channel for the production and sales of this new type of agricultural green and environmentally friendly product, and stated that it will make use of this product's characteristics of a short production cycle, high added value, and broad prospects to help it generate benefits as soon as possible and drive local farmers to get rich quickly.
