Standardized lion's mane mushroom demonstration zone construction in Hailin, Heilongjiang, advances in an orderly manner

    As one of Hailin City's key construction projects, the construction of the Junfeng lion's mane mushroom standardized cultivation demonstration zone is advancing in an orderly manner. As of now, the fencing and landscaping work in the park has been completed. The Junfeng lion's mane mushroom standardized demonstration zone, located on the north side of National Highway 301 in Hailin Town, was invested in and built in 2008. The park covers an area of 60,000 sq m and is divided into three phases of construction, with an estimated total investment of 8 million yuan. Now, the autumn crop of lion's mane mushrooms in the 10 mushroom sheds of the first phase is nearing its end, and the spring crop of 150,000 bags of lion's mane mushrooms has officially begun to be laid out.

Hailin City has a long history of lion's mane mushroom production. Its high-quality lion's mane mushrooms are renowned nationwide, with products sold throughout the country and exported to countries and regions such as Japan and South Korea. The city has successively been approved by the National Standardization Committee as a national-level lion's mane mushroom standardized demonstration zone. In 2007, Hailin City was recognized by the China Edible Fungi Association as "China's Home of Lion's Mane Mushrooms," and Hailin Town was rated as a "Lion's Mane Mushroom Specialty Town."

In recent years, Hailin City has continuously increased its support for the development of the edible fungi industry, boosted investment in science and technology, and implemented standardized cultivation techniques for lion's mane mushrooms. At present, the city's lion's mane mushroom standardized demonstration zone is actively carrying out certification for organic lion's mane mushroom products and geographical indication product certification for Hailin lion's mane mushrooms, truly making the reputation of "China's Home of Lion's Mane Mushrooms" resound, with the lion's mane mushroom demonstration zone built into the largest demonstration base in the country that can be visited, learned from, and used for exchanges.
