Kashgar's First Poultry Farming Cooperative Established
On June 10, Huangdi Township poultry farmer Akbar Hajji received the plaque of the poultry farming cooperative from **Kashgar Deputy Mayor Turghun Mamat, and said happily, "The cooperative has been established, and my farm's prospects are even broader now."
On June 10, Kashgar's first poultry farming cooperative was established in Huangdi Township. Kashgar city leaders, the Huangdi Township government, and relevant leaders from industry and commerce and animal husbandry, together with more than twenty poultry farming households of the cooperative, held a simple yet lively inauguration ceremony outside Akbar Hajji's farm.
The Huangdi Township Poultry Farming Cooperative in Kashgar is the first non-governmental organization in Kashgar voluntarily organized and established by poultry farming households. Its establishment is of extremely great significance for promoting the development of Kashgar's rural economy, strengthening cooperation among local poultry farming households in the purchase of production materials, the sale, processing, transportation and storage of agricultural products, and services such as technical information related to agricultural operations, and achieving the goal of rapid prosperity. The establishment of the cooperative will also drive the development of the poultry farming industry in neighboring areas, and will play a positive role in promoting the construction of Kashgar's egg and poultry export base and in seeking support from higher-level animal husbandry projects.
