The reporter learned from the Fujian Provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries that a wind-powered seawater desalination device independently developed by the Fujian Fisheries Research Institute was successfully installed and commissioned in Dongshan County at the end of September.

According to the design, the wind-powered seawater desalination device can produce 10 tons of desalinated water per day, meeting the production water needs of about 4,000 cage aquaculture units and the daily living water needs of 200 management personnel.
